If you want to go several shades lighter or darker than your natural hair color, single-process color (also known as an all over color) is when color is applied all over the head from roots to tips, using permanent, demi-permanent or semi-permanent color. This process changes the color of your entire head of hair, giving you a new, one dimensional tone that can be as dramatic or subtle as you like.

Foiling is a hair coloring technique where sections of the hair are colored and separated from non-colored sections by foils. Multiple shades can be used through the hair and results can be subtle, bright or very blonde depending on the amount of hair in the foils and the colors used.

Bright colors will fade from the hair within 4-8 weeks, while soft pastel tones can fade in 1-2 weeks. Most of the vibrant clor will fade from your hair little by little each wash.
